About Us
Our Story
The Beginning
Midway was originally founded as Midway Engravers on July 26, 1974 in Lansing, Michigan producing rotary tooling for the label industry.
The Early Days
Richard and Elizabeth Seeley purchased Midway Engravers in 1985, ready to begin a new chapter of rotary die manufacturing.
Make Way for Midway!
In 1990, Midway built a new 10,000 square feet facility in Williamston, Michigan and by 1995 Midway had expanded into new markets. Automotive, Packaging, and Medical industries all demanded precision tooling from highly durable tool steel, which just happened to be Midway's specialty!
New Century, New Midway!
In 2003 Midway earned its ISO:9001 Certification which set Midway apart from other rotary die manufacturers. 2008 was a busy year for Midway! Our facility expanded to 20,000 square feet during a renovation which saw us install additional equipment. Finally Midway Engravers was officially rebranded as Midway Rotary Die Solutions!
50 Years Strong!
This year marks our 50th anniversary and a focus on reflecting upon our past in order to determine our future aspirations. With 50 years of experience in the converting industry Midway is ready to help our partners with whatever problem they're facing. Just ask!
